Poutine lovers, rejoice! The most mouthwatering event of the year is making its highly anticipated return as we’re celebrating FIVE YEARS of proudly breaking out the poutine pants! From March 27 to April 13, 2025, Greater Moncton will once again be transformed into poutine paradise, with local restaurants serving up 38 all-new creations.
Whether you crave cheesy, meaty, spicy, sweet, or totally out-of-the-box creations, there’s something for everyone.
Celebrating a Canadian Classic
Poutine is more than just comfort food, it’s a national treasure! The perfect combination of crispy fries, rich gravy, and squeaky cheese curds has been a staple in Canadian cuisine for decades. But during Greater Moncton Poutine Week, local Moncton restaurants turn the dials to ten with creative, delicious, and sometimes outrageous twists from NB’s most talented chefs.
Sneak Peek: Poutine with a Purpose!
Greater Moncton Poutine Week isn’t just about indulging in cheesy, gravy-goodness. Some restaurants also use the event as an opportunity to give back to the community! While we can’t reveal the full lineup just yet, here’s a sneak peek at a few incredible dishes that will not only tantalize your tastebuds, but also support local charities and initiatives:
THE MIGHTY MAURO from the Bar at the Beau
House cut crispy fries, smoked bacon and toasted panko crumble, jalapeno and green peppercorn gravy, Quebec cheese curds and fresh scallions. $1 per poutine sold will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network!
Bacon Double Cheeseburger Poutine from Cheers Beverage Room
Ground beef, bacon, red onions, tomatoes, and pickles piled high on golden fries, cheese curds and gravy, drizzled with BBQ aioli. $1 per poutine sold will be donated to Fuel the Fun at Arnold H. MacLeod!
Ringa Ding Poutine from Lenny’s Takeout
Fries, crispy onion rings, and cheese curds, topped with savoury beef gravy and Lenny’s famous fried chicken. $1 per poutine sold will be donated to Food Depot Alimentaire!
